your inner guide - they never left, they were forgotten

When set on autopilot, going through the template of life and wondering, ‘What’s the point of this?’  When feelings of being lost in the land of grown-ups, anxious in a mental loop, and not sure what to do.

Stop.

Put down that flat rectangle and weather the urge to distract and pacify with social media. Resist the need for external validation by calling a life coach to review, ‘next steps and goals.’

The answers you seek are not there.

Deeply honest and unique answers are waiting. It’s just a matter of remembering your way back to them.

Close your eyes.

Take a few deep breaths.

Go inward. And remember.

Remember when you were 5.

Remember the dreams you have that are wild and untamed. Dreams in crazy colors and flavors you know exist. Adventures that are waiting for you and discoveries only you can make.

Remember.

Remember laughing so hard you can’t catch your breath. Following a snail’s luminescent dotted trail in the sunlight. Lying in the grass, staring up at the clouds, and seeing all sorts of ridiculous and wonderful things.

Remember.

Remember waking up at dawn just to play with your favorite toy. Making blanket forts to read in, where annoying siblings aren’t allowed. Sneaking cookies and denying any involvement with crumbs hiding out in the corners of your mouth.

When ‘adulting’ feels heavy and life is confusing, remember to consult your inner 5-year-old guide.

This is your life coach, your keeper of answers, the one who’s always been there for you and who knows you best!

Remember.
