Meet Jess…

She has no idea what she’s doing, yet has intentionally fallen through life as an illustrator, animator, storyteller, and world traveller.

Her imagination leads the way!

Creating worlds that evoke feelings of kid-like wonder, Jess transports her audience to a vibrant place of remembering their five-year-old self. She deeply understands that imagination is the magic space where everything begins, and can then be invited into reality.

This subversive human constantly turns things upside down and inside out before asking ‘why’ three times over.

Involuntarily raised in a religious cult, and a childhood of being contorted into a story that didn’t fit. Jess found an oasis in her imagination - until she was able to escape and create a life story that was truly her own. Through this experience, she ultimately discovered that imagination and story are at the core of EVERYTHING we do, create, think, and believe. We each have a choice as to how we use our imagination and which stories we allow into our lives.

As a grown-up, Jess has played alongside studios such as Disney, Marvel, and Dreamworks. Also, she has played with some of her own creations and won a few awards.

WINNER of the Christie Harris Illustrated Children’s Literature Prize, for That’s MY Sweater.

WINNER of the Shining Willow Award, for That’s MY Sweater.

Imagination and stories are not just for kids.

We never outgrow them!
